Men in Black Agent Zed is one of the founding members of the association and current Chief of the MiB in all media forms. Rip Torn in the Men in Black trilogy portrays Agent Z who runs the entire operation and everyone must answer to him. He is usually shown in his office, which is above the MiB Headquarters main floor. Agent Z chooses not to say much about his personal life before Men in Black, in fact he once discouraged Agent J from looking into Agent K’s past and then with more emphasis, told him to never ask him about his past.
